The Quality Hotel Park is housed amongst the historical and beautiful old hospital buildings dating from 1916. In 2007 these listed buildings were bought by Milling Hotels, who changed the buildings to include a more modern and vibrant hotel.
Creative, sustainable ventilation solutions
To install ventilation in listed buildings is in it self a huge challenge, let alone fulfilling the hotel chains environmental conscious requirements. Thus it is very important that the ventilation system chosen is optimized in every aspect.
The new EXHAUSTO VEX340 HR unit is a compact energy-optimized unit with a temperature efficiency of 85-95% which is delivered from our highly efficient counter flow heat exchanger. The VEX340 was also used to reduce the overall number of ventilation units previously required, from 6 to 3, enabling the hotel to save on initial installation and future service costs.
The most important argument for selecting this unit was the low energy consumption and the high heat recovery efficiency.
The principle idea behind the VEX340 concept is that in nearly all cases there is no need to install a heating coil. This can reduce the overall costs by up to 4600.- GBP per unit, saving on the cost of the heating coil as well as having to fit in a hot water supply.
